Sea Ranch

Recently my wife, Ericka Olson, and I performed a total renovation to our family home at The Sea Ranch. Together we led a down-to-the-studs redesign of the entire property. All of the interior design direction was ours.

We were extremely fortunate to commission a large new mural for the property by Barabara Stauffacher Solomon. It wraps from the entryway up the stairs and into the second floor living space.

We worked with Heath Ceramics, Mutina, and American Stone for the home’s extensive tiling. We also fire hardened the property with all new windows, Hardie Board siding, and a new metal roof. The house is also now 100% solar with significant battery backups and redundancy.

The expansive new deck with a sunken spa is made from all-natural Accoya pickled wood. A fantastic product that’s easy to work with, simple to care for, and wonderful on the feet.
